I. DWYA Self-Assessment
Complete a Do What You Are personality assessment.

Meet with a Career Advisor or attend a group presentation for interpretation of your DWYA results. Connect with Our Career Center Staff Here.

Description: Do What You Are is a personality type assessment instrument that will help you identify your strengths. You can then use this information to better understand yourself, your motivations, and potential areas for growth. It is a useful tool to help you select a major or determine a career path.

  1. Access the Do What You Are personality assessment at http://www.CollegeScope.com/byuh.
  2. Print and save your results.
  3. Schedule an appointment with a Career Advisor (675-3533) OR attend a scheduled DWYA campus presentation to obtain an interpretation of your assessment results.

II. YCareers Registration
Register as a YCareers user.

Description:
YCareers is the BYU Hawaii electronic job search network and includes not only a job and internship posting board but also functions as the on-campus recruiting scheduler. Students registering for employer interviews or for workshops and programs do so through the YCareers system. YCareers also houses the online storage system for your CAP documents.

  1. Click here to access theYCareers electronic job network and scheduling tool. Select the category (Students, Employer, Faculty, Mentor) that best describes you. Follow the instructions to set up a personal account. For assistance, visit us at the Career Center, CAF 180, or call us at 675-3533.
  2. Notify your assigned Career Advisor by email when you have activated your YCareers account.
